Polar Bear Day

International Polar Bear Day is held each year in February. Come celebrate with us on Saturday, February 25 to learn all about polar bears and their Arctic environment! Join our lead polar bear keeper, Kristin, in the Glacier Grille at 11am to hear about her recent trip to Churchill, Manitoba – the polar bear capital of the world! We will have a polar bear training demonstration at the polar bear exhibit at 11: 45am. Wildlife Champions will be on grounds from 11am – 2pm by the tundra buggy, the seal exhibit, and by our polar bear exhibit to teach all of our guests about the importance of these keystone species!
